Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree Respiratory Care is required.
• Technical Degree or Diploma in Respiratory Care is preferred.
• Licenses and certifications listed in the posting must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine respiratory therapy procedures in an assigned area.
• Maintains ventilation and airway care; provides ventilatory support.
• Performs invasive procedures and arterial blood gas collection as directed.
• Provides patient assessment and reassessment and communicates findings.
• Serves as a resource and educator for patients, families, and staff.
• Participates in department and hospital continuous improvement initiatives.
