Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree for preferred candidate.
• Current Texas RRT licensure required.
• Graduate from a CoARC-accredited program.
• BLS current; ACLS and NRP within six months.
• 3+ years experience in cardiopulmonary services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides cardiopulmonary care per physician orders and department policies.
• Operates and monitors oxygen delivery systems and ventilators.
• Performs arterial blood sampling and blood gas analysis.
• Administers therapies and monitors patient responses.
• Conducts EKGs and documents results in the medical record.
• Ensures patient safety and maintains equipment and sterilization standards.
• Adheres to department forms, logs, and flow charts; communicates with physicians as needed.
