El Paso Children’s Hospital seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week, full-time night assignment in El Paso, TX. The RRT will assess, treat and manage pediatric, neonatal and adult patients with critical pulmonary needs, using ventilatory support, airway techniques and arterial blood gas analysis.

Ideal candidates have NBRC registration, current TX respiratory care license and certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE) within 9 months, BLS, plus Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in adult, pediatric and neonatal critical care preferred.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Texas Medical Board Respiratory Care License current.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE certifications obtained within 9 months in position.
• BLS current.
• NPS certification within 2 years.

Responsabilités

• Assess, treat, manage and monitor patients with pulmonary deficiencies.
• Provide ventilatory support, humidification, aerosols, and airway management.
• Perform broncho-pulmonary drainage, arterial blood gas sampling and related procedures.
• Work in various critical care units with independence and quality care.
