Job summary

Two years of acute care hospital experience are required, along with a Colorado license and NBRC RRT, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications. PRN benefits are included, and hourly pay ranges from $31.82 to $47.74 USD.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in an acute care hospital accredited by the Joint Commission.
• Experience in neonatal, pediatric critical patient care.
• Colorado license required for Respiratory Therapist.
• NBRC RRT, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care on the patient care floors.
• Demonstrates competency with regulatory standards.
• Educates and trains staff for Respiratory Service Area.
• Maintains collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians and team.
• Performs diagnostic procedures including EKG, holter, and pulmonary function testing.
• Draws arterial blood gases, analyzes results per regulatory guidelines.
• Participates in emergencies and airway management.
• Contributes to performance reviews and conflict resolution.
