Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC-RRT or RCP.
• 0-2 years clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy and patient assessments.
• Administer aerosolized medications, manage ventilators, and perform airway procedures.
• Educate patients, families, and staff, including precepting new employees and students.
• Ensure safety, accurate documentation, and compliance with policies.
• Participate in performance improvement and evidence-based practices.
• Support invasive and non-invasive procedures, and diagnostic testing as needed.
