Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS (or ARC-BLS/Instructor), ACLS (or ARC-ALS/Instructor) certifications required.
• 0-2 years clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care in critical care areas with ventilator management and protocol-driven care.
• Performs patient assessments and collaborates with health care team planning.
• Verifies orders and administers aerosolized medications and therapies.
• Performs arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Educates patients, families, and supports staff development and mentoring.
