University Medical Center of El Paso seeks a Certified Respiratory Care Practitioner for critical care duties across units. You will assess, treat, and manage patients with pulmonary deficiencies using ventilator support, medications, and airway management under supervision, delivering high-quality care.

Requirements include NBRC certification, Texas license, CPR, ACLS within one year, and AMA-approved schooling.

Formación

• One year of experience in critical care environment post graduation from a formal Respiratory Care program preferred.
• Experienced in adult, pediatric and neonatal respiratory care procedures.
• Certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Current Texas Respiratory Care License.
• Current CPR.
• ACLS Certification within one year of being in position.

Responsabilidades

• Assessment, treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the pulmonary system.
• Provide care to patients of varying ages with age-related needs; may be assigned to any critical care unit; work with minimal supervision.
