Job summary

Select Medical in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for full-time day shifts on a 12-hour schedule. Compensation ranges from $36.41 to $49.00 per hour, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The role includes orientation, tuition reimbursement, and a clinical ladder program to support career growth.

Ideal candidates hold NBRC CRT or RRT, current state licensure, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months. Hospital-based duties include evaluating patients, providing respiratory care, and education

Qualifications

• Must possess Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift; PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).
• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
