Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is seeking a Respiratory Therapist CRT to deliver comprehensive respiratory care under supervision. You will manage ventilators, perform ABGs, spirometry, and related diagnostic procedures for patients across the care spectrum.

Qualifications include NBRC-CRT certification, RRT/RCP-State credentials or active licensure, and an Associate Degree, with ACLS and PALS requirements within 6 months. No travel is required.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required within 6 months of start date.
• PALS certification required within 6 months of start date.
• NBRC-CRT certification preferred to practice as Respiratory Therapist.
• RRT/RCP-State credentials required or active licensure as Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care including CRRT services, assessments and patient transport.
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and monitoring equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling, interpretation, and bedside spirometry.
• Deliver COPD, post-op and critical care therapies per physician orders.
• Assess patient response and adjust therapies to achieve airway patency and adequate humidification.
