HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) to deliver comprehensive respiratory care under the supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor. You may perform arterial blood gas analyses, ECGs, and pulmonary function testing, with potential for extended hours or on-call duties to ensure patient care.
Qualified candidates will have a AMA-approved program for CRT or RRT, CPR/ACLS certs, and Texas HB licensing steps in progress.

Job Type: CRT FT Days
Under the general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, the CRT/RRT provides comprehensive respiratory care to include basic respiratory care, intensive respiratory care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, arterial blood gas, electrocardiograms, and basic pulmonary function testing.
Performs patient care duties consistent with established Departmental and Hospital standards of care. Abides by all rules, directives, policies, and procedures, and performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Due to the nature of hospital services, it may become necessary to require employees to work extended hours or other variations of the usual shift to ensure adequate care of patients and maintain service to the community. Maybe required to take call.
