Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood seeks a Respiratory Therapist CRT to deliver comprehensive respiratory care in a busy acute-care setting. Under supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, you’ll manage airway techniques, ventilator support, and critical care procedures, while ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include arterial blood gas analysis, spirometry, EKG monitoring, and therapeutic procedures.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required or to be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• NBRC-CRT certification required.
• RRT/RCP-State certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care including acute and critical care.
• Initiate and monitor ventilator support and airway management.
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling, EKG, bedside spirometry, and pulmonary function testing.
• Assess patients and determine appropriateness of prescribed therapy.
• Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment and monitors.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient care.
