You will assess, treat, and educate patients, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes.

You will perform diagnostic procedures, ensure safety, and apply evidence-based practice in a fast-paced hospital setting, with a focus on family involvement in care decisions.

Qualificações

• High School Graduate and/or GED.
• One year of current critical care experience.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner: CA.
• Basic Life Support - CPR.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient respiratory function and administer therapies (oxygen, nebulizers, mechanical ventilation).
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health.
• Respond to emergencies and collaborate with physicians and nurses.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and ensure optimal respiratory outcomes.
• Assess age-specific data and tailor treatments accordingly.
• Involve patient/family in decisions about respiratory care.
• Perform bronchodilator therapy via HHN, IPPB as per policy and procedure.
• Provide postural drainage and percussion as required.
