Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to communicate with individuals and groups.
• Mandatory tuberculosis (TB) testing and OSHA training.
• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy program with at least an Associates Degree.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory care and evaluates therapy protocols.
• Delivers medications via aerosol and inhalers.
• Responds to rapid/STAT situations, maintains airways and CPR.
• Sets up and maintains all oxygen according to protocol.
• Weans patients from ventilators and provides chest physiotherapy.
• Maintains inpatient charts and clarifies physician orders.
