Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech to be on the front line of care at West Jefferson Medical Center. In this role you’ll support patient needs, monitor vitals, assist with hygiene and daily activities, and help create a safe, compassionate environment with teamwork at the core.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of clinical care experience (CNA or PCT experience preferred). Night shifts available across Louisiana sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• 1 year of Clinical Care experience; CNA or PCT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data collection for patient assessment including vitals, weights, and I&O.
• Support patient hygiene, nutrition and daily care tasks.
• Maintain a safe and clean patient care environment.
• Complete patient rounds per assignments to drive safety and satisfaction.
• Assist with data and documentation as required.
• Engage in teamwork and seek opportunities for growth.
