1103 Team Member Services is seeking a Paramedic for a night/weekend shift in Winter Garden, FL. You will provide primary patient care during EMS transports and ensure safety within scope of practice and department protocols.

Responsibilities include assessing and documenting patient conditions, educating families, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with EMS standards. Certification requirements and license checks are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 1+ advanced life support transport experience
• 3+ critical care transport experience
• 5+ advanced life support transport experience
• 5+ driving passenger vehicles

Responsibilities

• Provide primary patient care on transports within EMS scope and protocols
• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care during transport
• Educate patients and families about illnesses and interventions
• Inspect and maintain equipment for transport safety
• Ensure accurate patient and department documentation

Job Description

Shift: 12 hours per shift, Night Shift 2100-0900 Provides primary patient care activities on transports approved within scope of practice as defined by EMS Medical Director. Assesses, plans, implements intervention, and evaluates the appropriate level of patient care according to scope of practice, EMS Protocols, department policies and procedures. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions and treatments, as appropriate. Educates patients and family members about patient illnesses and clinical interventions. Inspects and maintains equipment to ensure the safety of transport team members, patients, and the general public. Monitors and anticipates needs for additional equipment and appropriately secures tools to meet patient care demands during transport. Operates emergency vehicles safely in a variety of weather and emergent conditions in accordance with established safety standards. Maintains the unit in a constant state of readiness and completes medication, supplies, and equipment inventories each shift, restocking as needed. Ensures patient and departmental documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance at all times. Other duties as assigned.
