Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking experienced paramedics for pre-hospital and interfacility care in the Lehigh Valley region. You will administer life support at scenes, en route, and during transport, and coordinate care with hospitals and treatment centers.

Candidates must hold PA Paramedic certification with 3+ years of field experience and current BCLS/PALS/ACLS or equivalent. The role requires strict adherence to scope of practice and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have PA Paramedic certification and at least 3 years of field experience.
• Critical care/paramedic certifications (BCLS, PALS, ACLS, PHTLS/ITLS) required or in progress.
• FP-C or CCP-C must be obtained within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administering basic, advanced, and critical care life support to patients at scene, en route, and interfacility.
• Work within scope of practice regulated by PA Department of Health Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.
• Assessing the nature and extent of injury or illness to establish and prioritize medical procedures.
• Rescuing and extricating victims using proper rescue and medical techniques.
• Treating patients at scene, en route to hospital, and interfacility.
• Communicating with professional medical personnel to arrange treatment and receiving facilities.
