Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ALS experience required.
• State EMT-P license is required.
• AHA BLS certification is mandatory.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care in transport under physician direction and policies.
• Evaluate critically ill or injured patients from pediatric to adult.
• Collaborate with drivers, leadership, and healthcare partners.
• Detect changes in patient status and respond promptly.
• Position equipment and supplies for emergency conditions.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in QA programs.
• Maintain clinical proficiency across critical care areas and devices.
• Operate within safety requirements in all environments.
• Complete transports within scheduled shift times, including possible extensions.
• Participate in required training and preserve certifications.
• Demonstrate professional communication with patients, families, and staff.
