Job summary

Superior Ambulance Service in Wisconsin is hiring EMT-Paramedics for multiple locations including Janesville. You will provide high quality patient care during transport, evaluate patients, and collaborate with the team under medical direction.

ENTRY-LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED include 2+ years ALS, State EMT-P license, AHA BLS, and a valid driver's license with a clean record. Preferred certifications and ongoing training are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years ALS experience.
• State EMT-P License.
• AHA BLS Certification.
• Possess a valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record and ability to operate a vehicle in various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care to patients in the transport environment under the direction of the Program Medical Director and referring/receiving physician.
• Autonomously evaluate critically ill or injured patients and provide therapeutic or emergency interventions for transport.
• Collaborate with drivers, coworkers, leadership, and hospital staff and other partners.
• Assess changes in patient status and proactively address patient and family needs.
• Plan, organize and position equipment for use in emergencies before, during and after transport.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in quality assurance programs.
