Rochester Regional Health in Potsdam, NY is seeking a Certified Critical Care Paramedic (CCT) to provide advanced emergency medical care and transport for critically ill or injured patients. You respond to dispatch, assess patients, perform ALS interventions, and transport to medical facilities.

The requirements include NYS Paramedic license with BLS/ACLS/PALS; CCEMT-P/CCT-P or FP-C; valid Driver's license; and ideally 3 years of 911/inter-facility transport experience.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Licensed Paramedic with BLS, ACLS, and PALS; CCEMT-P/CCT-P or FP-C preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: 3 years' verifiable 911/inter-facility transport experience.

Responsabilités

• Respond to emergency calls, assess patients, and coordinate with dispatch.
• Safely transport patients, monitor their condition, and provide care in transit.
• Provide advanced life support (ALS) including airway management, IV therapy, defibrillation, and drug administration.
• Communicate with dispatchers, firefighters, law enforcement, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient care reports and ensure equipment readiness.
• Educate and reassure patients and families in crisis situations.
• Adhere to legal, ethical, and safety protocols.
