Job summary

Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital in Mount Vernon, NY is seeking Critical Care Physician Assistants to join our hospital-based team providing direct care to critically ill adults in surgical and medical ICUs. You will document histories, implement treatment plans with supervising physicians, monitor patient status, initiate emergency interventions, and communicate with families.

Requirements include NY PA license, NCCPA, CPR/BLS, Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• New York PA licensure required.
• NCCPA certification and CPR/BLS.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in critical care.

Responsibilities

• Document patient health histories and perform complete physical examinations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with supervising physician.
• Assess patient status and initiate interventions as needed.
