Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for inpatient ICU coverage in Texas (Conroe area). Start date ASAP with mostly night shifts (7p–7a) and additional 7a–7p shifts; weekends and on-call included.

Required ACLS/BLS, active Texas license, board certification, and DEA; credentialing within 45–60 days. Travel & lodging arrangements and competitive pay provided.

Qualifications

• Active Texas license and board certification
• DEA license held and current
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience in inpatient critical care setting preferred
• Ability to perform intubations and line insertions

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care in inpatient ICU.
• Night shifts 7p–7a and 7a–7p with in-house intensivist.
• Perform intubations, central venous and arterial line insertions.
• Collaborate with the intensivist team.
• Credentialing within 45–60 days

Available Shifts: Night 12; Weekend; On Call

Pay Rate: $106.70 - $115.50

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Mostly night shift needed 7p – 7a and 7a – 7p Intensivist in house


• Practice Setting: Inpatient


• Type of cases and required procedures: Must be able to perform intubations, central line insertion, and arterial line insertion.


• Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 days


• Certifications required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)


• Licensure required: Must have an active Texas License, must be Board Certified, Transferable Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA)

During the oil profits in the 1930’s, for a short period of time, Conroe boasted having many millionaires living in its city, and in 1955, Elvis Presley performed at a High School football field in Conroe.
