Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Critical Care team at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ. This per diem role involves night shifts (7pm–7am) in the combined Medical-Surgical ICU and Cardiac ICU, working with residents and attendings under supervision.

Experience with ventilation management and critical care is preferred. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree and NJ license/eligibility, with ACLS and BLS credentials and a minimum

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and NJ licensure required.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• Minimum of two years as PA or NP.
• Critical care experience preferred; ventilation management experience a plus.
• Excellent communication and computer skills; strong work ethic and team player who can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients in the CCU/ICU in collaboration with residents and attendings.
• Provide care in Medical-Surgical ICU and Cardiac ICU.
• Ventilation management and critical care duties as APP.
• Per diem night shifts 7pm–7am, 3–5 shifts per month with potential for more.
