Job summary

Midland-Marvel Recruiters, LLC is assisting a community hospital in recruiting a Nurse Manager for the Critical Care unit, with relocation support provided. The role focuses on daily operations, staffing to census, and maintaining high clinical standards.

The manager will supervise and delegate tasks across the care team, serving as a clinical resource and ensuring equipment and supplies are in place for patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing Program.
• BSN preferred.
• 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting: ICU experience required.
• Leadership experience as Manager, or other Supervisory role.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Basic EKG/tele interpretation experience required OR completing a Basic EKG class within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily operational responsibilities including ensuring staff scheduled to support census, department has supplies/equipment to care for patients.
• Assumes responsibility for maintaining a high level of clinical expertise and adapts to new information, technology and changing trends in nursing practice.
• Is able to function as a clinical resource to maintain a high level of nursing standards.
• Effective oversight of and delegation of tasks and assignments to appropriate health care team members.
