Job summary

Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking a Director of Critical Care to lead the ICU/PCU and drive clinical excellence across the division. This newly structured leadership role reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and focuses on patient-centered care, safety, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Nursing or related field is required.
RN licensure in the State of Texas or eligibility is required.
Professional certification in nursing or executive leadership is required; clinical specialty preferred.
Min 10 years of progressive nursing experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
Demonstrated expertise in critical care operations, quality improvement and patient safety.
Strong financial and operational acumen including budgeting and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

Provide focused oversight of critical care services (ICU/PCU) and strategic leadership for the division.
Design, implement, and continuously improve patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
Partner with executive leadership and clinical teams to drive safety, accountability, and quality outcomes.
