Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking Advanced Practitioners (Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants) for Critical Care across its campuses.

You will work with critical care physicians and staff to care for medical, surgical and critical care patients, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as directed and collaborating on care plans. Rotational 13-hour shifts, 18 shifts in a 6-week block, with limited night and weekend work; opportunities for night-only, weekend-only,

Responsibilities

• Competent in assessment, treatment, counseling and education of patients and families provided medical services.
• Ability to evaluate patients and perform physical examinations, obtain histories, and interpret results.
• Develops and implements treatment plans and coordinates care with other healthcare professionals.
• Provides high quality healthcare based on best practice and evidence-based medicine.
• Conducts virtual care services via St. Luke's virtual care platform when appropriate.
• Keeps professional knowledge up-to-date through education and participation in professional activities.
