A well-established, regional health system in Dothan, Alabama is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Critical Care/ICU team. This organization serves as the primary tertiary referral center for Southeast Alabama, Southwest Georgia, and the Florida Panhandle, providing advanced medical care across a wide range of specialties. Position Highlights

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program with board certification
• Physician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with NCCPA certification
• Active Alabama NP or PA license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA (or ability to obtain)
• Previous ICU/Critical Care experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is highly individualized and based on several factors, including prior RN experience (for NPs), years of clinical experience, certifications, and overall background. Specific compensation details are discussed after the initial interview and CV review.
