UC San Diego Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support anesthesia critical care across Surgical ICU, Rapid Recovery Unit, Cardiac ICU, and East Campus ICU. The NP will follow standardized guidelines, provide care plans, and exercise independent judgement under supervision to deliver patient care.

Qualifications include accredited NP training, California NP license, ACNP/AGACNP certification, and BLS/CPR with ACLS. Days/nights shifts may vary; background check required.

Formación

• Must be a graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
• Current California RN license, NP license, and Furnishing License, or must obtain before credentialing.
• Acute Care NP Certification (AGACNP or ACNP).
• BL S/CPR and ACLS certifications required at hire with ART within six months.

Responsabilidades

• Provide follow-through on the care plan with independent judgement.
• Practice within ANA standards and interdisciplinary approaches.
• Direct patient care delivery in a fast-paced unit.
• Manage time and triage acute patients; participate in program development.
