Job summary
Provident Behavioral Health in Boston, MA is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse to join the Float Pool in a high-acuity Critical Care environment. You will apply clinical knowledge, perform comprehensive exams, diagnose and manage conditions, develop treatment plans, and participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary rounds.
The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, flexible scheduling, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing required.
- 3+ years of Critical Care NP experience preferred.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Massachusetts NP license currently active.
- Certification as Pediatric NP or Family NP.
Responsibilities
- Complete patient histories and physical exams.
- Manage clinical problems and treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostics and communicate findings.
- Participate in discharge planning and documentation.
- Engage in patient education and team collaboration.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Contribute to teaching and interdisciplinary activities.
- Maintain clinical competency through ongoing education.
