Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Manteca, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks an experienced Critical Care Shift Manager (RN) for the Nights shift. The role centers on delivering high-quality patient care, while guiding nursing staff and ensuring operational excellence in the Critical Care Unit.

Essentials include active California RN licensure with BLS/ACLS on hire, PALS within 6 months, and national certification for senior Shift Manager roles. Prior CCU leadership and clinical expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of managerial experience in a Critical Care setting within the past eight years.
• Active California RN License, BLS and ACLS on hire; PALS within 6 months of hire.
• National Certification required for Shift Manager III and IV; Shift Manager II requires BSN or National Certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled, high-quality patient care and coordinate nursing practice per unit goals.
• Assist Department Director in developing and evaluating nursing staff and maintaining unit operations.
• Prescribe, delegate and coordinate nursing care; act as a clinical resource during the shift.
