Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage in Florida. The assignment features regular 7a-7p shifts, 10 shifts per month, in a hospital ICU setting, with a need to perform central lines, intubations, and arterial lines.

Candidates must hold an active Florida license and a DEA license, ACLS certification, and experience with EMR systems including eClinicalWorks and Meditech. Credentialing typically takes 30–60 days.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Florida license and DEA.
• ACLS certification required.
• Proficient in performing central lines, intubations, and arterial lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care coverage as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in ICU.
• Perform central lines, intubations and arterial line insertions as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate with facility and EMR systems.

This facility is seeking a Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
