Job Summary

ICC Healthcare (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking a Critical Care Intensivist to join the Trident Health System in Charleston, South Carolina.

Description

Specialization: Critical Care Nephrology, Critical Care Anesthesiology, Critical Care Internal Medicine, Critical Care Pulmonary, Critical Care Emergency Medicine.

Schedule

Position available 2026. Full‑time. Schedule structure: 15 shifts per month.

• Core coverage at primary facility (Trident Medical Center)
  • 12‑hour shifts across both days and nights
  • Trident Medical Center: 28‑bed Med/Surg, CVICU, and Trauma ICU
  • 2 MDs during the day, 1 MD and 1 APP at night
• Shared campus coverage supporting affiliated campus (Summerville Medical Center)
  • ICU rounding and clinical support of the 24/7 APP. 2–3 hours on site at Summerville and night on‑call responsibilities on assigned coverage days (≈5 shifts per month)
  • Summerville Medical Center: 12‑bed Medical ICU
  • 24/7 APP coverage in‑house
  • MD coverage during the day and night call from home
• Clinical teaching opportunity with Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine residents

Qualifications

• Critical Care Board certified or eligible – most critical care specialties will be considered
• Active South Carolina Licensure or ability to obtain
• Ability to work Full Time
• Available 2026
