Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for a highly specialized Intensive Care Unit in Glendale, AZ. The role focuses on providing comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients requiring continuous monitoring and life support, with collaboration from the interdisciplinary care team.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with current RN licensure in Arizona and BLS/ACLS certifications; CCRN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required).
• Minimum 1-2 years of critical care or med-surg nursing experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs continuous assessment and monitoring of critically ill patients, including hemodynamic and ventilator management.
• Administers medications, titrates vasoactive drips, and manages complex treatment plans per physician orders.
• Responds to emergent changes in patient condition, including cardiac and respiratory arrest.
• Collaborates with physicians, respiratory therapy, and other disciplines on plan of care.
• Provides education and emotional support to patients and families during critical illness.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and patient response in the electronic medical record.
