Job summary

Northern Regional Hospital is accepting applications for a registered nurse to join our dedicated team in a role focused on high-quality patient care. The RN will assess and plan care, coordinate with the health care team, and supervise delegated tasks for assigned patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities include documenting patient status, handling emergencies, and delivering evidence-based care to patients aged from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina.
• CPR certification or obtained within three months of employment.
• ACLS within twelve months and maintained per policy.
• ASLS certification within twelve months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Supervise and delegate care to other personnel as needed.
• Care for patients across age ranges from 12 years to geriatrics.
• Hours and shifts may vary from the schedule.
• Document and communicate patient condition changes to the health care team.
• Manage critical care patients with multisystem medical problems.
• Respond calmly to emergencies.
