Job summary

Upper-Allegheny-Health-System's Olean General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse - critical care float to join our nursing float pool. This role covers critical care areas, requiring strong teamwork and leadership to deliver safe, high-quality patient care on a 7p-7a schedule.

The ideal candidate will hold NYS RN licensure, BLS, and prefer ACLS/PALS. At least one year of nursing experience and a BSN are favored.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure in NYS.
• BLS required; ACLS & PALS preferred.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience; BSN preferred.
• Ability to provide leadership and effective team communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, safe and appropriate nursing care per policies.
• Demonstrate geriatric and general patient care principles.
• Provide leadership and guidance for staff; ensure shift coverage.
• Promote CMH positively within hospital and community.
• Onsite work with rotating shifts; 7p-7a; 75 bi-weekly hours.
