Qualifications

  • Graduate of a professional academic nursing program.
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications necessary.
  • 1-3 years clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
  • Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving tools.

Responsibilities

  • Implements physician orders and administers medications.
  • Orders and evaluates diagnostic tests.
  • Assesses patient needs and applies sound nursing judgment.
  • Provides emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
  • Collaborates to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
