Job summary

Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage is seeking a Critical Care Float Pool RN to provide high quality, patient-centered care across units. You will coordinate care with physicians, teach patients and families, and participate in quality initiatives within the hospital.

The role requires an associate degree in nursing and active RN licensure in Alaska, plus ACLS and BLS within 30 days. Travel is not required and benefits are comprehensive.

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license in good standing and an associate degree in nursing.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum one year of experience in relevant clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and outcomes tracking.
