Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team. You will coordinate plans of care, document assessments, and support patients and families throughout the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required.
• BSN in progress or willing to acquire within 3 years of hire.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse license by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience or Nurse Residency program participation.
• National Certification in specialty preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate care and communicate with patients, families, and staff.
• Document assessments, plan of care, and treatment accurately.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and bar-code documentation.
• Discharge planning and coordination for safe patient transition.
