Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in New York. The role requires NY RN licensure, BSN, and 12 months of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience with 3 months in the last 12 months. Candidates must be able to float to ICU/ER/Med/Surg and must reside >30 miles from the facility.

Shifts run 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with rotation on weekends/holidays. COVID and flu vaccines are required. Local candidates are not accepted for this travel assignment.

Responsibilities

Experience

Requirements

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >30 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.
• Pre-employment modules may be required for this role.

Additional Details

All travelers report to Geneva General Hospital for orientation.

Unit Details

Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Shift & Scheduling

• Every other weekend and holiday rotations.
• Two on-call shifts per 4 weeks.

Floating Requirements

• Must be cross-trained for multiple units (Med/Surg, ICU, and ER).
• Must be comfortable floating to ICU, ER, Med/Surg, and MST.
• Must be willing to float at Finger Lakes Health facilities only.

7 days maximum time off
