Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a 13-week assignment based in New York. The role requires NY licensure, BSN, and 12 months of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience, including 3 months in the last year, with CC Float Pool exposure.

You will float to multiple units across Finger Lakes Health facilities and report to orientation at Geneva General Hospital. Shifts run 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with every other weekend and holiday rotations; two on-call shifts per 4 weeks.

Qualifications

• New York RN license required.
• 12 months of Med/Surg/Telemetry experience; 3 months within last 12 months.
• Critical Care Float Pool experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Med/Surg or Telemetry care for assigned patients.
• Float to ICU, ER, Med/Surg and MST as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and documentation per policy.
• Support shift coverage with 7:00 AM–7:30 PM schedule and rotations.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >30 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.
• Pre-employment modules may be required for this role.

Additional Details

All travelers report to Geneva General Hospital for orientation.

Shift & Scheduling

Floating Requirements

• Must be cross-trained for multiple units (Med/Surg, ICU, and ER).
• Must be comfortable floating to ICU, ER, Med/Surg, and MST.
• Must be willing to float at Finger Lakes Health facilities only.
