Job summary

ChristianaCare in Newark, DE invites experienced registered nurses to apply for the ICU Float Fellowship, a 24- to 26-week immersive program designed to accelerate critical care expertise.

Throughout rotations through Neuro, Surgical, Cardiovascular CCs and MICU, Fellows gain advanced skills and mentorship, culminating in joining the ICU Float Pool to provide cross-unit support in a magnet-recognized system with strong education resources.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Rotations through ICU units (Neuro, Surgical, Cardiovascular, MICU, Wilmington ICU, Progressive Care/Step-Down).
• Join ChristianaCare's ICU Float Pool after completion to provide cross-unit critical care support.
• Develop advanced critical care knowledge and hands-on experience in fast-paced environments.

About the ICU Float Fellowship

This immersive 24-26 week fellowship program combines classroom instruction with extensive clinical experiences to prepare nurses for the fast-paced and rewarding world of critical care nursing.

Throughout the program, Fellows will work alongside experienced ICU nurses while rotating through ChristianaCare's specialized critical care environments, including:

• Neuro Critical Care Complex
• Surgical Critical Care Complex
• Cardiovascular Critical Care Complex
• Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Wilmington Intensive Care Unit
• Progressive Care, Step-Down, and Transitional Care Units

Upon successful completion, participants will join ChristianaCare's ICU Float Pool , providing critical support across multiple specialty care areas.

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
