Qualifications

• Associate Degree Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) must be ACEN or CCNE accredited.
• Verification of accreditation from ACEN/CCNE websites if school updated or renamed.
• Only education recognized by U.S. Department of Education from accredited institutions may be used for federal employment.
• If foreign education used, provide a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of training and education for nursing staff.
• Collaborate with Nurse Manager in evaluation of employees.
• Prepare schedules and submit for review.
• Collect data for quarterly process improvement reports.
• Ensure medical records are current and complete; verify physician orders.
• Plan, coordinate, and utilize staff to meet patient care workload.
• Attend preschedule meetings and assign work to subordinates.
