Job summary

Air Methods in Pensacola, FL seeks a qualified Nurse to join its critical care flight team. You will deliver lifesaving care during helicopter or airplane transport, assess patients, perform triage, and provide advanced nursing care consistent with CBS Medical Director guidelines.

Requires 3+ years in critical care, RN licensure, and relevant certifications. The role includes on-call rotations and travel, with comprehensive Air Methods benefits and ongoing education support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum three years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience within last five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care during transport and document care.
• Maintain licensure, certifications and continuing education requirements.
• Report equipment issues and ensure onboard supplies and aircraft readiness.
