Morrison Healthcare in Johnson City, TN is seeking a Critical Care Dietitian to deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy for trauma patients within a 445-bed acute care setting. The role covers surgical nutrition, with a Monday–Friday schedule and every 6th weekend rotation.

Requirements include RDN with CDR and TN licensure; specialty certification where applicable; and at least two years of related experience. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus, with a comprehensive

Qualifications

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and TN Dietitian licensure
Specialty certification when required
Two years of work experience in specialty preferred

Responsabilités

Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for trauma (surgical) patients.
Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable wellness for patients, families, staff, and the community.
Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual and facility protocols to ensure high‑quality care.
Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence.
Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
Mentorship & Professional Development: Support growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training.
