Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Johnson City, TN is seeking a Critical Care Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy in a trauma-focused setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize nutrition care for surgical trauma patients.

The role requires RDN or CDR eligibility and TN licensure, with a base salary of $60,000–$65,000 plus a $5,000 sign-on. Schedule is Monday–Friday with every 6th weekend rotation, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice as applicable
• Specialty certification when required
• Two years of work experience in specialty preferred

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
