Advocate Health's Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Critical Care: CICU is seeking a Nurse Aide I to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This full-time role supports admissions, transfers and discharge processes and helps maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for critical care patients.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide I course, with registry listing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide I course.
• Listed with the state Nurse Aide I Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients under RN supervision, including admissions, transfers, discharges, and perioperative care.
• Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and promote fall prevention and safety.
• Ensure accurate and timely communication of patient information to the team.
• Perform assigned procedures under RN direction with accuracy.
• Communicate with patients, families and team members in a professional manner.
• Demonstrate initiative for performance and professional development.
• Deliver age-appropriate patient care following age/developmental guidelines.
