Job summary

University Medical Associates (UMA) invites applications for a one-year Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellow position focused on critical care. The program offers rotations across Neuroscience, Cardiothoracic, Medical/Surgical, and more, with opportunities to learn invasive procedures and complete an end-of-year project.

Fellows join a robust didactic curriculum, attend weekly lectures, and are supported by APP mentors and leaders.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN.

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive history and perform physical examinations.
• Evaluate and treat based on test results and guidelines.
• Participate in required lectures, QI projects and scholarly activities.
• Maintain licenses and certifications as required by state law.
