Job summary

Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) is seeking a Trainer II (Crisis Training Coordinator) to coordinate, schedule, deliver, document, and monitor training for staff in OCHN’s 24/7 Resource & Crisis Center (RCC). You will work with RCC leadership to ensure timely onboarding and ongoing education, aligning with regulatory requirements and approved curricula.

The role requires strong organizational skills, experience in training coordination, and the ability to manage training across shifts

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of college coursework in education, psychology, human development, social work, behavioral health, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain RCC training plan and master calendar for onboarding, annual, refresher, and role-specific trainings.
• Schedule instructors, rooms, virtual sessions, materials, and staff enrollment; accommodate night/weekend/24/7 coverage.
• Deliver instructor-led training in-person or virtual using approved curricula and adult-learning practices.
• Coordinate training for Crisis Care, Crisis Residential, Behavioral Health Urgent Care, and other RCC staff.
• Develop new-hire learning plans with RCC managers and verify completion of required training before independent work.
• Maintain accurate records, rosters, attendance, certificates, and competency documentation.
