Job summary

TFI Family Services is seeking a Crisis Support Worker to join the team in Fort Scott, KS. The role involves assisting children after hours, potentially transporting them to foster placements and supporting families in crisis.

You will be on full-time hours with scheduled weekend on-call rotations and access to a company car and mobile tools. We require a high school diploma or equivalent and value experience with children and families.

• Experience serving children and families preferred.
• We will provide training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with children after hours, including transporting to their new foster home or helping a child in moderate crisis.
• Be with a child in hospital or at office locations as needed.
• Rotation of weekend on-call hours every four weeks.
• Use provided company car, cell phone, and computer as part of the role.

• Average hourly rate is $14.55 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)****

We are looking for Crisis Support Worker to add to our team! A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Previous work experience demonstrating competency in a role serving children and families preferred. We will teach you the rest!

A Day in The Life as a Crisis Support Worker

As a Crisis Support Worker, you will assist with children after hours. These situations may include, transporting a child to their new foster home or helping a child in moderate crisis. This is a full-time position. Support Workers may be asked to be with a child in a hospital or any of our numerous offices in the area. We do provide a company car, cell phone and compute. This position requires a rotation of weekend on call hours once every four weeks.
