Job summary

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has an opening for a Registered Nurse at our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) in Gulfport, MS. The RN will coordinate medical services and address nursing needs for adults with serious mental illness in a 24/7 crisis setting.

The ideal candidate has behavioral health experience and a compassionate demeanor, working with the mental health team to ensure safe, effective treatment during crises and promoting patient recovery within the community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing required and RN licensure in Mississippi.
• Experience working in a crisis unit preferred; independent work ability required.
• Behavioral health experience is desirable, with a compassionate demeanor.
• The RN collaborates with the mental health care team to provide safe, effective crisis care.

Responsibilities

• Crisis de-escalation skills required
