Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Technician to assist with intake, admission decisions, and care planning. You will help monitor patients’ wellbeing and support daily activities while collaborating with the treatment team.

The role involves night shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am), direct patient care, crisis intervention, and participation in milieu activities. Benefits include health coverage, paid time off, and loan forgiveness programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a psychiatric inpatient/outpatient or hospital setting.
• Bilingual English and Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor individuals' physical and emotional wellbeing and report concerns to supervisor.
• Obtain vital signs at designated times during shifts per protocol.
• Assist with ADLs and keep living areas clean and stocked.
• Support admission and discharge processes, including safety checks and orientation.
• Lead milieu activities and group sessions as assigned.
• Document vitals and observations in Carelogic per procedures.
• Respond to crisis situations and assist with de-escalation when safe.
• Provide direct care as needed and transport individuals to discharge locations.
